Started with a recruiter call from a consultancy who then shortlisted me. The first round was a JavaScript test with simple tasks like email validation and an API call, which I passed. Then there were two Skype interviews conducted from the US. These Skype rounds were less technical and more focused on my work culture, team experience, and whether I had worked with remote teams. I felt good about it and thought I would get selected. However, five days later, the consultancy informed me that although the company hadn't provided specific feedback, they weren't moving forward with my profile. It felt like a complete waste of time.

The whole process was really unorganised, they seemed unsure about their own procedures. After clearing all rounds, they asked for salary slips, ID, and other documents. However, the HR was unresponsive to calls and emails. If I somehow managed to connect, they'd mention restructuring and promise an update, but never follow through. They lacked the courtesy to even respond. The initial telephonic round went well, but there was no communication afterward. After a few days, I contacted a consultant for an update, and within hours, I was told I cleared and could proceed to an in-person interview the next day. That discussion went well, involving programmers, PMs, and the Business Head. The HR then indicated everything was fine and a call about salary would happen soon. Days passed with no word. Upon calling again, the HR mentioned the Business Head from the US would be visiting for another in-person round. When I questioned why I wasn't informed earlier, they said it wasn't planned but since she was visiting, I should meet her. I attended again. Again, everything went well, and the HR asked for salary details and all my documents, which I submitted. But I never heard back. Phone calls went unanswered; the person was always 'away from the desk.' Emails were not replied to. Somehow managing to connect, the reply was 'no update, maybe restructuring :(' and a promise to update, but nothing ever happened.

It started with a written test with puzzles focusing on attention to detail, which were easy. Then, an Excel test where you just do copy paste using your keyboard, using your mind to copy paste from one sheet to another. After that, an interview with the Team Lead. Then a Manager round where both the Team Lead and Manager will ask about your last role and provide details about the Job description. Following that, a round with the Country Head, who will ask just for an intro or simple questions. Finally, an HR round and you are in :)

So it was a 3 round interview process. One was a technical round, another was a managerial round and the last one was an HR round. The technical and managerial interviews were about 40 minutes each, but the HR round went on for over an hour. In total, the interviews took up half a day, about 4-5 hours. They asked me to talk about my experience and presented me with some scenarios where I had to suggest solutions.
