The interviews went pretty fast and were online. I got through 2 rounds but didn't get the job. Everyone was friendly and asked normal questions. There were a lot of people on the hiring committee.

I interviewed with a panel of 5 people who all asked questions. They mentioned a second interview with a presentation, but I never heard back. I emailed them 3 weeks later for an update and got a generic response saying the position was filled.

So no HR screening call. I had a Zoom interview with a panel of 4 faculty/staff members. They were nice and asked good questions. Then I was invited for a second round, an on-campus interview with the hiring director. I took public transit for a 45-minute interview. After that, I never heard back, which was weird since I thought it went well. A month later, I reached out to the director about my status, but got no response. It's been 3 months now. I've already accepted another job with better pay, benefits, and no commute.

Got a virtual first round with the search committee head about a month after applying. Then, about two weeks later, I had an in-person second round with the hiring committee leads/managers. They said I'd hear back within a week, but after two weeks of no word, I followed up. They mentioned they were still reviewing applications. About a month after that last interview, they told me they chose another candidate.
