The hiring process took longer than expected. It started with a video interview, which felt like a phone screen, and was a bit intimidating but manageable. After that, I was told I'd hear from a recruiter within two weeks. However, it took five weeks to get an email with a date for an in-person interview. The in-person interview involved meeting with four managers. The interview itself felt a bit disorganized, with a lot of the time dedicated to me asking questions rather than them asking structured interview questions.

So I initially called to ask about some issues I was having with the online application. Once I got that sorted and submitted it, I had a quick 20-minute chat with a recruiting manager. It was pretty informal, just covering my background and school stuff. Then, we got into why I was interested in working at a credit union and what my future career plans were. The next week, I had a Skype interview with another recruiting manager. It was pretty much the same questions, but he also asked for specific examples related to whatever he was asking about. After that, I did some online assessments, which they seemed really happy with. They wanted to move forward to interviews with the branch manager, but it didn't work out because of my availability. I was a student then, and they needed someone who could work more hours than I could commit to. They were looking for closer to 60 hours per pay period, and I could only do about 45. They suggested I apply for a Peak Teller role, but there weren't any openings in my area. So yeah, that's why I didn't end up getting the job.

I applied online. I got a call a few days later for a skype interview with the recruiter. Then I was set up for an in-person group panel interview two days after that. The in-person interview was with the HR specialist, Assistant Manager, and Branch Manager. It lasted about 1.5 hours and involved a lot of questions about 'what if' scenarios and my past background and sales experience. I got the offer a week later and accepted it.

First, there was a video interview where I had to read questions on the screen and record my answers. Then, a live video interview with a recruiter for basic questions. Lastly, a panel interview with three managers where they asked questions about the position and my past experiences. It wasn't as intense as I expected.
