First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Marvin.
HR Business Partner
Had an initial screening interview with talent acquisition, which was a normal first-step interview. It asked about my experience and how it pertains to the role. They were very professional and my interviewer was very kind.
- Can you tell me about your experience working with warehouse employees?
Consultant, Client Success
So the interview process usually has a first chat, then a skills test, after that a technical interview, some problem solving stuff, and then a final chat with some of the team or the bosses. Then they give feedback and we talk about the offer.
- Tell me about your background with tools like Tableau or Power BI for visualizing data.
- Describe your method for tackling data analysis and solving problems.
- Share an instance where you were responsible for managing a substantial dataset.
Production Associate
We did a 30-minute phone screen, it was pretty laid-back and they asked some generic questions. Then a couple days later, I toured the facility, took a simple aptitude test to check if I'm capable of doing the job, and had a short, casual interview with the shift supervisor. If they decided to offer me the job, I'd have to do an online background check, and then a pre-employment drug test and physical at Sanford. The physical is pretty much a given unless you're anemic. The drug test only checks for hard drugs.

- What are your workplace values?
Product Manager
Got a quick reply after applying online. Had a short phone chat with the recruiter, then a 1-hour virtual meeting with the hiring manager. It was a bit weird because I was expecting questions – behavioral, competency-based, something – but I had to lead the whole conversation. Then, silence for over a month.
- Can you start by telling me about yourself?
- Do you have any questions for me?
