So, I had my first interview which was pretty chill, mostly about my resume and some behavioral stuff, then I talked to the HR manager, two senior devs, and the lead UI/UX designer. I'm still waiting to hear back about the next steps.

Good team and company even with the auto market declining in Ontario. Good office culture, and the interview team was welcoming. Seems like a strong team. Was asked many good questions, and everyone was friendly.

Had one in-person interview. It was straightforward. They mainly asked about my university experience since it was for an intern position. They were looking for someone to support various areas throughout the plant. Everyone was very friendly and there was a good working relationship.

So I had a phone call first with an engineering manager, they asked me basic questions about my resume and past experiences, and my knowledge of some automotive systems. They also went over the job and company overview. At the end of the call, they asked if I wanted to come in for an onsite, and said HR would set it up. When I got to the onsite, nobody was at the front desk and the doors were locked, so I had to wait for someone to let me in. The person who let me in had to find my interviewer who was running late from a meeting, so I waited another 30 mins. Once he got there, we went to a conference room for a round table with 3 engineers. They asked pretty standard interview questions and it seemed to go well. Near the end, they even gave me tips on where to live and things to do locally. After that, I had an informal chat with the VP of engineering. It wasn't really an interview, more of a chance to meet and talk about the company broadly and how they value employees. He was definitely trying to sell the company. I was supposed to meet with HR next, but she was on vacation so that was skipped. I was told 'don't call us, we'll call you' when I left. I didn't hear back for 6 weeks. I emailed my contact for an update, and about a week and a half later, I was told they went in another direction. Just a heads up, this company seems very disorganized.
