First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at MarshBerry.
Investment Banking Analyst
The interview process included an HR call, an Excel assessment focusing on data modeling and takeaways, and a call with an Analyst and Associate. Overall, it was pretty relaxed with minimal technicals for Summer 2025, but this might change. I'd recommend it if you're looking at this type of role.
- Could you walk me through your experience?
Data Analyst
There were three interviews. First, a phone screening with HR. If that went well, you move on to a video interview with two data analysts, then a third interview with the manager. All interviews were casual, with typical questions about experience and your strengths/weaknesses. They also assess your personality/emotional intelligence, so some personal questions might come up.
- Do you have prior experience in customer service?
- What are your hobbies or interests outside of work?
Placement Specialist
The hiring process was really quick and efficient. The HR and executives were great to talk to, very informative. The executive team answered all my questions thoroughly. The interviews felt like natural conversations. The Q&A part was relevant to the job and the interviewers seemed to have put good thought into it. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.
- Could you describe a challenging situation at work and how you handled it?
Financial Analyst
The interview process included an initial phone screening with HR, followed by two phone screenings with senior consultants, and a skills assessment. I read one of their consulting plans which mentioned that to hire good candidates, the process should involve regular communication and be quick. However, this process took nearly two months to complete the three steps, with two weeks between each step, which doesn't align with their stated advice.
- Can you discuss your past work experience and its relevance to this role?
