Graduate Scheme
The interview process was good. All the interviewers were friendly. The interview process was pretty difficult though. The office looks professional. Overall, the process is positive to me. Although I was not offered the position, I am glad that it brings me positive experience.
- What motivated you?
- Group test
Technology Graduate Scheme
The interview process started with a HackerRank assessment featuring fairly straightforward questions. This was followed by a 15-minute HR interview using a standard set of questions. The main part of the process was an on-site assessment. They're known to send candidates home early if they feel the performance is poor and there's no longer a chance for an offer. The day began with being given a computer and a document with 15 questions to answer within an hour. Internet and Google use were permitted. The questions covered a broad and open range, including SQL queries for data extraction, debugging a JavaScript web-parser, and writing a 'HELLO WORLD' program in a custom language using ASCII encoding, all designed to gauge general technical knowledge and problem-solving skills. Afterward, a team member discussed the answers. Then, a group exercise took place where candidates were given a scenario (like being stranded in a jungle and choosing survival items) and had to discuss their choices with others, observed by HR for about 20 minutes. Lunch followed, providing an opportunity to chat with current graduate programmers. Post-lunch included an interview with two team members, involving a 30-minute project presentation and a 30-minute CV review. Subsequently, there was an interview with a manager, and finally, a discussion with the CTO. Overall, the experience was positive, with sharp and friendly interviewers. Travel expenses for a prior night's stay were reimbursed, as the day started at 9 am in London.
- Which technological advancement are you currently most enthusiastic about?
Technology Graduate Scheme
The interview process was not great. I didn't hear back from them, even after I emailed to ask about my application's status. I've made it to the final round before and was expecting the same, but they really need to improve how they communicate with potential employees because it makes me hesitant to want to work there.
