Technical Behavioral

The interview process involved three stages: a technical round, a behavioral round focusing on communication and collaboration, and a final offer discussion. I was contacted by Robert Walters recruitment agency, who managed the scheduling. The first round was unstructured and unprofessional; I was initially told it would be behavioral, then technical, but the technical round happened first. The interviewer also changed unexpectedly; I was expecting Sunil but Ms. Khushbu Singh from Mumbai joined. There was ambiguity about the role itself – whether it was purely Business Analyst or Business Analysis Administrator. The interview setting was distracting and not very professional, with the interviewer's camera off and significant background noise, including interruptions from her family. During a request for time to think about an SQL query, she questioned my employment status and departure from my last job, which felt like a premature judgment of my skills.

So red flags everywhere in the interview. The head of the department was trying to one-up me the whole time. They expect you to just jump in and start contributing without any prior knowledge or training. They did mention the role supports the HK team, but they spoke to me like I was already part of the team. They were trying to low-ball me throughout and weren't sincere about negotiating.
