First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Marquardt.
Software Engineer
I had a telephonic interview first, with general questions. Then, I went for an in-person interview with the team lead and manager, which was more of an intro to get to know each other. After that, there was a second interview, a very technical one with future colleagues. The whole experience was comfortable and the interviewers were friendly. It was a great interview experience!
- What are your aspirations for the future?
- What are your career plans for the next 5-10 years?
- Can you tell me where you currently reside?
Quality Associate
I was in a group of five people for an entry-level job interview. The staff from the Resettlement Agency took us there. I thought I would get the job because the interviewer seemed to think I met the requirements, but I'm still waiting to be hired. All my friends who were interviewed have been hired, and they're surprised I haven't been. I explained my past experience working in groups, with small electrical parts, and how I'm familiar with computer assembling. I'm still hoping to join this well-known company that has good working conditions and offers growth opportunities for someone hardworking and sincere like me.

Embedded Developer
It was a Technical Panel and Head of Department interaction, which was nice and not much to say. The worst part was the HR round. The HR was very rude and arrogant, also asking technical questions which was horrible. I'm not sure how a non-technical person could understand my answers, and didn't know how to behave with someone with 9 years of experience. It's sad but true. There's no control over the HR; I left the HR round midway due to frustration. Instead of mentioning the pros of the organization, I was told about the cons. Management should seriously look into this.
- Tell me about a normal embedded C question.
Solutions Architect
I had 3 interviews in total, starting with a screening. Then, there was a remote interview with the manager, followed by an on-site interview with both the IT director and IT manager. Finally, I had another interview with a manager from Germany where we discussed my profile, past successful deals, and projects.
- Can you tell me about your experience and track record?
- What is your total number of years of employment?
- Please describe your previous roles.
