Technical Coding Behavioral Case

So this was an on campus interview, around 200 people first took an aptitude test, and 50-60 were shortlisted for the next stage. Then there was a technical assessment with scenario-based troubleshooting questions, which were quite simple and basic. It also included SQL and DSA questions, maybe LeetCode easy level, basically pretty straightforward. From this round, 20 people were selected for a technical interview, and I was one of them. They didn't go too deep technically, but focused on scenarios and my project, which was about data analytics. I did well and was shortlisted for the HR round happening next week. We'll have to see what happens!

I applied through LinkedIn and got an email from HR for a face-to-face interview at the Bengaluru campus. The process included R1 - Aptitude, R2 - Technical, and R3 - HR. Unfortunately, I was rejected after the technical round, even though I felt I answered most questions correctly. I'm unsure why I wasn't selected.

The interview process runs from morning 9 to 5 pm. Everyone has to do a written test for 1 hour 30 mins, with questions on Aptitude, Numerical ability, Logical reasoning, and your specific department (Mechanical, Electrical, etc.). Results are announced after 2 hours. Then, there's a face-to-face technical interview for about 20 to 30 minutes for those who scored minimum marks in the written test. Questions are mainly about your resume, projects, and internships, plus some basic department questions that are asked in a tricky way. After that, an HR round happens for 15 to 20 minutes, which is more like general conversation. If you pass that, the final round is with the team head or manager, who asks logical questions and questions about applying your branch knowledge in real-life situations.
