They asked me some good questions and were understanding about me not having a degree and focused on my experience and enthusiasm for the role.

It took about a week to get the offer. Most of the interview questions focused on how I trained and coached reps in my previous job. Questions touched on how people learn and how I adapted my training philosophy to match different learning styles. I had a virtual interview where I was given questions and had to record my answers. Then, I had to present a training on the BlackBerry products I'd be demonstrating. After that, I had a face-to-face interview, which isn't always the case as sometimes they're done via Skype.

I interviewed with Marketstar for a role supporting their Blackberry group. I'd previously worked for them as a trainer for HP. The interview process seemed to go well. The interviewer mentioned I was a great fit and implied I'd get the job, saying I'd hear back early the following week. However, the next week, they offered the position to someone else, which was disappointing given how they made it sound like I was the top candidate.
