First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at MarketScale.
Account Executive
Their HR person reached out to me on LinkedIn about an AE role and asked if I wanted to chat. I sent my resume and said I was interested in learning more. She then sent a link to do a video presentation about my interest and skill set. It felt misleading from the start, and I wonder if they were just trying to get users to try their video solution.

Senior Consultant
The interview process was really confusing, I never knew where I was in the cycle. They would rush me for 3 interviews in 3 days, then make me wait for weeks. They even had me attend networking events after I had already interviewed. It was very strange. After they offered me the job and I countered, they ghosted me and I never heard back. I asked the CEO about all the negative reviews, and he said they were probably fake. A current employee initially defended the company but then quit and told me everything on the reviews was true. Don't waste your time.

UGC Coach
It was totally wild. I had to submit a video, then do two phone interviews, and after that, a Zoom call with three directors. Then there was a typing test, followed by six different online tests for personality and cognitive stuff. After all that, I had an interview with the CCO. It felt like the CCO hadn't even read my resume and they asked me if I was a parent, which is illegal, and also what I do for fun. They were late to the meeting and had to cut it short. I put in hours on calls, meetings, and those 'tests' for this job. Everything seemed to go well and I got compliments on my resume and experience. But, I didn't get an offer and got no explanation why they picked other people.
- How do you handle managing clients and juggling multiple tasks?
- Can you describe your experience as a parent?
- What are your hobbies outside of work?
Office Manager
The interview process involved email communication, followed by phone calls, and concluded with an in-person interview at their Dallas office. It was a very relaxed experience; I never felt pressured. Upon arriving at the Dallas office, I was welcomed warmly and given a tour. Both interviewers were friendly and put me at ease. It was a great interview, and I hope all my interviews go this smoothly.
- Can you share some past experiences that you believe would contribute to your success in this role?
