First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Market Managers.
Financial Consultant
I had to check in at the front desk and then fill out some basic info on a page. After that, I waited to be interviewed and was asked some basic questions about my resume and what I know about the company. It wasn't too difficult.
- What do you know about our company?
Manager
The process I went through for this role was pretty standard. It started with a recruiter call, then moved to a phone screen. After that, there was a technical screen, and finally, an onsite interview. They extended an offer after the final round.
- Can you tell me about the team's engagement levels?
Marketing
It was a 4 round process. First was a call interview, where they asked basic stuff from my resume and let me know the actual interview time. Second was a personal interview where they asked basic questions from my resume and then asked if I was interested in the marketing job and why. They mentioned it's basically a sales job where you have to stand all day in places like Walmart/Best buy/ Costco and sell services for AT&T or similar companies. Third was a show the field work round, they took me to a store (Walmart/Costco/similar) and gave me information about the services and how to sell them. They also showed me the salary plan and commission details. Fourth was a personal interview if I was still interested.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Are you interested in this marketing position?
- Why are you interested in this marketing role?
Public Relations and Communications Assistant
So I applied yesterday and this morning someone called to ask me a few questions before scheduling an in-person interview. When I called, they mentioned they only hire locally even though I said I was willing to relocate and come to Independence for an interview. She also said they were wrapping up interviews tomorrow. It's weird because when I applied on LinkedIn, it said I was one of the first 10 applicants, so I don't know how they could wrap things up so quickly. Lots of red flags.
- Are you still looking for a job?
