First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Mark Thomas.
Survey Technician
It was a zoom call with two managers. They seemed interested in my interests and were happy I was still in school. They were accommodating and offered me a job, though it was more of an internship since I'm still a student.
- What makes you want to be a surveyor?
Manager
It wasn't too bad, the process was very comfortable and easy going. They asked all the right things. Just be yourself and be genuine about why you were interested in applying in the first place.
- Can you tell me about your strengths and weaknesses, and also why you are interested in this position?
Communications Specialist
Interviewed for a communications position. Thought the process was going very well until both the interviewer and recruiter went dead silent even after thank you emails were sent. I just think the status of the position should be communicated if you take the time to interview with someone. It’s probably a good thing because after further review the person interviewing me wasn’t someone I wanted to work for anyway
- Can you provide some examples of your writing?
Intern
The interview was online with two team leaders. There were 2 rounds. They asked questions covering behavior, personal aspects, and technical skills. They asked about myself, my motivation for the job, and my knowledge of the company.
- Could you elaborate on your reasons for applying to this position?
