First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Mark Anthony Brewing.
Quality Assurance Laboratory Technician
First I talked to HR, and they asked about my experience, what I'm good at, and what I could improve on. Then I met with the department manager and supervisor, and they wanted to know about how I solve problems and fix things when they go wrong.
- Could you share some details about your background and yourself?
- What would you say are your biggest strengths and weaknesses?
- Can you talk about your problem-solving skills?
Technical Brewer
So first, the recruiter calls you up, they just wanna chat about your resume and give you the lowdown on the company and the job details so you get what the role is all about. Then they pass your resume along. After a few days, you'll hear back about what's next. If it's a go, you'll likely have a virtual panel interview.
- Can you share an instance where you encountered a challenge in your professional life?
Business Process Specialist
I went through 4 interviews for this role. It started with a phone screen, then I spoke with the hiring manager, and there were two other interviews after that. I felt pretty good about how they went, but then the recruiter totally ghosted me even after I followed up a bunch. Really unprofessional and rude.
- What three strengths would your manager identify as your best?
Warehouse Manager
I had 2 virtual interviews, then they invited me to the site for more interviews. They took me on a tour of the plant and then out to dinner. The first interview was with HR, and the second was with the PM and SC managers. My only critique is that I thought things were going well the entire time, but they could have given me their feedback face-to-face during dinner instead of after. The feedback they gave my recruiter was basic and frankly disrespectful considering the time I invested in interviewing and traveling to the location for the job interview, especially since I didn't live in the area.
- Can you share an instance where you successfully motivated an underperforming employee?
- If a workplace lacks standards, what would be your initial steps to establish them?
- What do you anticipate being the most challenging aspect of your first day in this role?
