Behavioral Technical Other

So I had this interview that started with a 4-hour online test, kind of like a personality assessment. Then I had to go to their corporate office for a face-to-face with the execs, who were pretty full of themselves. The weirdest part was a 1-hour session with a super young psychologist who was trying to figure out if I was a good fit. She started way back at like, grade school. It was wild. Oh, and when I interviewed in Cincinnati, they accidentally scheduled me and a colleague from the same company at the same time in the lobby. Bad planning, for sure.

I had a one-on-one interview with the sole member of the technical publications team. They asked me to present a selection of my professional work samples. We talked about the content and quality of these samples. We also went over salary expectations and details about standard and overtime working hours. The discussion also covered the project I'd be working on and what they expected from me.

The process was fair and very communicative, happening in a timely manner. The interview was collaborative and covered many areas of the organization. HR was pleasant, and the managers were knowledgeable, asking insightful questions. The facility is great, recently remodeled and modern. Compensation and benefits were better than I expected.
