So I was at the final interview stage and the recruiter said they'd let me know the outcome. But then I heard nothing back, except for an email saying they tried to contact me and couldn't, so I was no longer being considered. This was after I tried to follow up a bunch of times. I replied to that email right away, but still didn't hear anything else.

The interview process can differ a lot depending on the specific store. My manager wasn't the best. His wife also works as a driver, and he clearly gives her preference for more orders and more income. He claims there are no favorites, but that's absolutely not true.

A "pizza interview" is a casual way to interview candidates for a job. You and the company talk about the job while eating pizza. It makes things feel more relaxed, helping you chat naturally and see if you'd be a good fit for the team, not just based on formal questions.
