Sales
This was a great interview process, very thorough. They seemed really interested in me and my future at the company. They asked about what I wanted to get out of this job and where I see myself going in the future, like if I wanted to travel, write poetry, or become a surfer.
- What is your previous experience?
Executive Assistant
Went through three rounds. First met with HR, then my potential boss, and then met with both of them again in person. They asked about my previous experience and qualifications, and about specific situations or current problems they were facing and how I'd dealt with similar issues. We also discussed work and communication preferences, and how to set up calendars and meetings.
- What potential challenges do you anticipate in this role?
Store Manager
I applied on the website and the RM reached out to set up a video interview. It went well, so the TA manager interviewed me via video. Then, I was immediately told I'd be going to the next round, which was a video interview with the head of HR. There was a hiccup with the Teams link, making the meeting start 10 minutes late. Unlike the previous interviews which were relaxed, the head of HR was the opposite. I knew right after it finished that I wouldn't be moving forward and got a rejection email the next day.
- Can you tell me about your leadership style?
Product Development
Had four interview rounds, each around 30 minutes. The pay didn't seem to match what I asked for when applying, which was a bit of a letdown. I followed up with the recruiter after all the interviews, but I never heard back from them or the rest of the team. It was disappointing to spend so much time and miss work, and then not even get a rejection or an update on my status. Even when the Hiring Manager told me to email her questions, I didn't get a response. Overall, a pretty disappointing experience.
