The CEO reached out to me about this role and I went through multiple interviews with leaders. After several conversations, I was ghosted for months. Then I was asked to re-engage, only to be denied the job due to my disability and an insulting salary offer. The process had manufactured urgency and the company lacked structure. There was no employee handbook, the title wasn't finalized, and they were merging positions due to turnover. I'm thankful I didn't get the job given the disorganization and discrimination.

It was about a half hour zoom interview with 2 people. They seemed interested in me but then never responded to my follow up emails. The initial interview was rescheduled which was frustrating.

The process involved three separate phone calls with upper management. We discussed my past jobs, what's expected for the role, the company's overall direction, and how I'd fit in. I felt really good after the interviews, like this was the company for me. Each call was distinct from the last, which kept me engaged and curious about the job.
