First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Marathon TS.
Customer Service Representative
It was a pretty straightforward interview. They used the STAR method, so remember to structure your answers from beginning to end. I only had a phone interview. It was a fair and easy process. Just be professional, and you'll be fine.
- Can you describe a situation where you had to handle a challenging customer and the situation was not in your favor?
Business Analyst
This was a remote business analyst role. The interview process involved a phone call over Google Chat about the job itself, and then an HR interview. The overall difficulty was low to medium. The base pay was good.
- We had an interview over the phone using Google Chat.
- Tell me about your experience and qualifications.
- What are your career goals?
Graphic Designer
A recruiter reached out, and I had a phone screen with her. Then, I had another phone screen with the hiring manager. Since they were a contractor, I interviewed with the main contracting company and it went well, leading to an offer which I accepted. After completing paperwork and training, I was awaiting a start date. However, a few days later, they rescinded the offer, stating I lacked sufficient experience. It's baffling this came up so late in the process. Be cautious if you're planning to give notice at your current job; you might have to retract your resignation.
- Could you present your portfolio?
Project Manager
The interview process was pretty easy and straightforward. I first had a call with the recruiter where we discussed my background and some general questions. After that, I met with the team members. I ended up getting an offer about two weeks after that initial call. It was a good experience overall, and I'd consider working there again.
- Can you tell me about your previous project management experiences?
- What kind of behavioral questions did they ask?
- Were there any technical questions related to project management?
