The whole thing took about 4-6 weeks from when I applied until we figured out the start date. First, I had a phone call with a recruiter. Then, I met virtually with my direct supervisor. After that, I had another virtual meeting, this time with an Executive/VP for the area. The final step was an in-person meeting with a client and my direct supervisor.

This was a really quick process, about two weeks from start to finish, ending with an offer. It was a nice change of pace compared to other places that require like 4-5 interviews plus tests. Every interview seemed to have a purpose, and the recruiter was good about staying in touch.

I had 3 interviews spread out over 3 different days, with 2 weeks between each. First was a quick 15-minute recruiter call. Then I spoke with the Regional Manager. The final interview was with a clinical nurse practitioner, about 30 minutes, where they asked about my skills and for situational answers. It felt like a waste of time, and I never heard back after the last interview, total ghosting. I'm glad I didn't take full days off. Next time, I'll be more direct to avoid wasting my time.

I applied for a communications job. First, I had a phone interview. Then, a week later, an HR person called and said they weren't filling that role but were creating two new similar ones. She asked if I'd want to interview for one, and I said I'd think about it and asked for the job description. They never sent it. A month went by with no word. Then, a different HR person called about the new position, which I hadn't applied for and still didn't have a description for. I took the call to learn more. It went well. A week after that, a third HR person contacted me to come in for an interview with three marketing team members. It's been over a month since then, and I haven't heard anything. I followed up with HR about the job status but got no response. I saw on LinkedIn that the job was filled two months ago, but I never got any notification. This whole process was disorganized and unprofessional. I ended up interviewing with five people over three months and never even got an email saying they picked someone else. I regret wasting my time.
