CRM Lead
It was a really easy process. I saw the opening on LinkedIn and applied. My first meeting was with Kelly from the People team. She was really nice and made me excited about the job by explaining why the role was open, where the company is headed, and what the culture is like, especially regarding inclusion. After that, I had two interviews with the hiring manager and some other managers on the team. I had to do a small task to show how I tackle problems and think through my work. The interviews had lots of good questions that let me show how much I want the job and my CRM experience. I also got to ask my own questions to make sure ManyPets was a good fit for me. Kelly kept me in the loop the whole time, first by phone, and asked for my thoughts after each step. Then she followed up by email to let me know what was next. It felt very genuine and not rehearsed; the questions and process were made for the role and for me to make sure I felt comfortable.

Product Manager
I had my initial conversation with a Senior Talent Partner, and it felt good. We talked about my background and how I might fit. But then, getting updates was a bit of a struggle. I sent emails to check in, and it took them four days to reply, which felt slow. What was really confusing was the feedback. The recruiter saw my resume and seemed to think I was a fit, but then later, senior people thought my experience wasn't strong enough for the role. It was a weird experience overall, and I'm not sure if their feedback and communication are consistent. Companies should be clearer and quicker with feedback to make things better for candidates.

Customer Experience Analyst
It was a two-stage interview process, and I made it to the second stage. The first interview was very conversational, mostly discussing my past experiences. The second interview involved explaining a drawing I made, which was quite unusual, but I suppose they use it to gauge if I align with their company values. After the interview, I didn't get any updates. They left me hanging over the Christmas and New Year period, and then I finally received a generic rejection email that seemed like a copy-paste job. I believe if you interview someone twice, the least you can do is call them or provide some personalized feedback. I'm quite disappointed with how it was handled, and if this reflects their overall employee treatment, it might be a good thing I didn't get the job.

People Administrator
The interview was a 3-stage process, all done via Zoom. First, a screening stage with standard competency questions. Then, a second stage with managers, which went into more detail on competencies. Finally, a third stage, a more complex interview with a second-level manager and an SLT member. It was a really good recruitment process overall. Kelly was very nice and welcoming, and it felt very personable. Couldn't have asked for anything better!
- Can you share an instance where you had to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously?
- What's an aspect of yourself that you believe you could enhance?
