I was asked to check a box for CRM during the screening. About halfway through my screening interview, the recruiter who was interviewing me sent me a rejection email. When I asked her about it, she told me a made-up story saying it was an accident and that I should just ignore it.

The interview process involved two quick phone calls, one with HR and another with the hiring manager, followed by a straightforward in-person interview with two interviewers. They were prompt in their response to my application, making the whole process quite brief.

Behavioral Presentation

I interviewed with the C-level suite for a highly visible enterprise project management position. The interview heavily focused on my ability to justify the definition and value of agile approaches to project management. At the end, they stated we wouldn't be using agile, but I'd be hired to use traditional 1980s methods. I stayed for six months, which was a great experience, but then there was a significant layoff where 20% of the company, including my entire department, was cut.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Can you explain why agile methods are valuable, especially when they might be seen as just a reason for ongoing disorder?

It was a bunch of phone interviews where they checked out my personality and my skills. They also asked me to agree to a background check and a drug test. I thought the interviewers and their HR were really helpful and upfront about the job details. A lot of the questions were about specific situations and seemed to be checking how well I could keep my cool.

  • Can you share an instance where you dealt with a challenging coworker and how you managed the situation?
