First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Manor.
Marketing
Sept 2024: Recruiter reached out on LinkedIn, followed by a phone call. Submitted documents but then heard nothing. Jan 2025: Applied for a position, HR called. They said they'd update me on the next steps, but then silence again. March 2025: Applied online again, had an online interview with HR and the hiring manager. They asked for feedback the next day, but after I sent it, they disappeared again. Very unprofessional!
- Could you share your experience with us?
Projektleiter
First, a Teams call with the HR recruiter. Then, an assessment and personality analysis. After that, a meeting with the supervisor including a small case study. Finally, a discussion of the assessment results with HR. Overall, it was very friendly. A 'you' culture from the first conversation. Good guidance throughout the application process. I always knew what to expect next. Quick decision-making after the final conversation.
- How would you perceive the task of this position?
- What challenges do you think need to be overcome?
- How can you contribute to success?
Product Management Head
Very professional and efficient, yet friendly and transparent. Video call with HR and line manager: I briefly introduced myself. Lots of information about the company's plans, the role, and its challenges. I was asked for a detailed assessment/analysis of the current product range/customer experience and how I would develop it further. The next step in the process would have been an on-site meeting with a business case.
- Have you visited a point of sale and what is your assessment of it?
- What do you look for in a company? And what don't you look for?
- How do you approach leadership?
Corporate Communications Manager
After submitting my application, I had a first phone call with HR, followed by a video call with my future manager and an HR person. Then, I had a third in-person meeting with my future manager and a future colleague. This last interview also included solving a practical case related to the job description to assess my writing skills, ability to improvise, creativity, and time management. The discussions were pleasant and supportive. I left the interview feeling confident and eager to be chosen.
- I was asked to choose among 4 images, the ones that corresponded to me the most. There was no good or bad answer, as long as it was justified, but this exercise was about recruiting a person whose personality completes the existing team.
