The interview kicked off with three potential future colleagues asking about my experience/qualifications, availability, etc. Following that, there was a quick Q/A test. Lastly, a short chat with an HR rep about typical HR questions.

Behavioral Technical Other

The interview process was very disjointed with conflicting information from HR and the hiring manager. Initially, there was a 30-minute phone screen with HR. This was followed by a 40-minute phone interview with the hiring manager, who then requested an in-person meeting with herself and her boss. Before the in-person interview, a "predictor index" behavioral assessment was required. The 3rd interview was in-person and disjointed, starting awkwardly with the HR person seeming more focused on my application than the hiring manager. This interview lasted nearly an hour in a noisy conference room, ending with salary discussions and a requested start date. I was then asked to return that week to meet the hiring manager's boss, but instead met with the HR coordinator again. The HR coordinator discussed the "predictor Index" results and asked questions that the hiring manager should have asked, giving significant weight to the assessment tool. The HR person mentioned a call that week to schedule the follow-up meeting. After I left a VM two days later which went unreturned, I received an email two weeks later stating they had "went with someone else." The HR staff's inexperience and disorganization were apparent, and their interview process needs streamlining.

I spoke with the VP of Human Resources about my background and asked why I was looking into the job. The office is big, but I only got to see the HR part. They seem pretty chill there and recently changed their dress code to casual.
