Project Manager
It started off okay, but it quickly became clear they didn't really know what they were after. The CEO interview was all over the place, and the questions didn't feel very thought-out or relevant to how I could fit the role. They had really high expectations: one PM to manage four dev teams, be their product owner, and act as the CEO's chief of staff. They rushed to schedule a final interview before I had another one elsewhere, then canceled it last minute saying they decided not to hire for the role. This whole thing just screams they don't know what they're doing and suggests a lot of instability.

Marketing
I applied online and after two months, a recruiter reached out about a pre-screen phone interview. It was cool to be considered out of over 150 applicants, especially since the role seemed like a perfect fit for my skills and experience, with similar product lines and work scope to my previous jobs. I was looking forward to the call, but the recruiter had a really bad attitude from the start, which was disappointing, especially since I've had many successful phone interviews recently. Even when I shared my excitement and what I could bring to the table, the recruiter seemed to dismiss my responses and had this 'you'd be lucky to work here' vibe. It felt very unprofessional and doesn't reflect well on the company. First impressions matter, and this recruiter really needs improvement to make candidates feel enthusiastic. Despite the unprofessionalism, I maintained my composure and was asked if I wanted to proceed to the next level, which involves a project. I then asked about the salary range, and the recruiter refused to share it, which I pointed out could help both candidates and the hiring team. It's concerning to see negative reviews online, and I think improving the initial recruiter interaction is key to attracting talent.

Marketing Specialist
I applied online in November 2014 and then got a call for a phone interview in January 2015. It went well, so they invited me for an in-person interview the next week. After that, they said I'd have a copywriting activity and maybe another interview. I was happy to get the copywriting challenge in early/mid-February. I worked hard on it, trying to capture the Mango vibe. They must have liked it because I got invited for the second interview in late February. That also seemed to go okay, and I was really hoping to hear back because it felt like the end. I didn't hear anything for a week, so I followed up. They told me they'd keep me posted. My last follow-up was two weeks later (three weeks after the second interview), and I got the same answer. I still haven't heard back from Mango, and it's now June. It's really disappointing and unprofessional, especially given the effort I put in.

Language Coach
First, you'll fill out a standard application with your details and CV. Then, you'll get an email asking you to send a short video introducing yourself. After that, they'll ask for your availability for a 1-hour interview. This interview is split into: a part where they'll present the role and the company and ask you questions, and then a 20-minute class that you need to prepare beforehand, with specific details about learner levels. They'll then discuss your class with you, and you'll have time for questions at the end.
