Engineering Manager
It was a few interviews, including HR, a peer manager, and the hiring manager. The final one involved creating and presenting a solution for a given hypothetical scenario. Each interview lasted about 30 minutes to an hour.

Engineering Manager
My experience ended after three interviews. First, there was an initial HR screening where we discussed my CV, Mambu benefits, and salary expectations. After that, I was sent an assignment via email to complete within a few days. Second, I met with other engineering managers for a more in-depth presentation and discussion about the assignment. Following this, I received a link to a profiling test to be completed by the next day. Third, I had an interview with the hiring manager and an HR business partner where we talked about leadership scenarios (similar to Amazon's style) and the test. After this, I was informed that the process would not proceed further.
- Can you provide examples from your experience regarding team management?
- Please share leadership examples from your background, similar to those asked in Amazon interviews.
Engineering Manager
It started with an HR chat to get acquainted. We clicked and mutually agreed to proceed with the hiring process. Then, I had technical discussions with very professional people who really know the industry. Right after the final conversation, they extended a financial offer the same day, which I accepted. :)
- When assessing a team member, what aspect do you prioritize: their achievements, their conduct, or their capabilities?
