First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Malone Media Group.
Marketing
The interview process was professional and informative. The people I met were helpful and asked meaningful questions. It was a good opportunity to get to know everyone and understand how the company operates. They weren't upfront about salary, so I had to ask.
- What do you consider your greatest strengths?
Social Media Analyst
It was a super relaxed and easy process! I had two interviews: one with a VP and another with the social media manager. They were both really easy to talk to and explained the job well.
- Can you tell me about your social media experience?
Digital Marketing Specialist
The interview was pretty chill. They hit me with some standard questions, like why I'm interested in the role. Also got the usual stuff about my education and work history. I felt the interview itself went okay, except for that part where I had to rank job tasks super fast, like in under a minute. Which is kinda funny because it can take ages to really know what a job entails. After the interview, they said they'd send a writing sample, but it never came. Kinda unprofessional, but honestly, I wasn't upset about it.
- What is your motivation for this position?
- Can you discuss your educational background and professional experience?
- How would you prioritize a list of job-related tasks within a one-minute timeframe?
Account Manager
I had two in-person rounds with the VP and a senior Manager. I got the job offer by email in less than 24 hours. It was a pretty easy and comfortable process. I felt like my personality really matched the company culture.
- Can you introduce yourself and explain why you think you'd be a great fit for this role?
