The virtual interviews were going pretty well, and I got positive feedback and verbal approval to advance. However, after waiting two weeks for the third interview, I was unexpectedly scheduled for an interview for a different role. While the role itself wasn't an issue, the lack of communication made things confusing for both me and the interviewer, and I think it hurt my chances.

It was a drawn out process, but otherwise pretty standard. Started with a phone call with the internal recruiter. I was supposed to have a Zoom interview with someone in corporate, but that ended up being a phone interview instead. Then, I was supposed to have an on-site interview with that same corporate person, but they didn't show up, and I didn't even know the interview was changed to include someone else. The on-site interview ended up being with three people in total: two upper-level production managers and another HR person. The HR person seemed really put upon and had a negative attitude about everything, bad-mouthing it all. It was terrible. After the interview, the person from corporate reached out to follow up and said they'd call me within the next week, but they never did. No call, no email - I was totally ghosted.

Started with a recruiter screening, then talked to 2 people for a phone interview, and finally had a phone interview with HR and the plant manager. It was a bummer that when I asked for feedback to get better for the future, they never got back to me with any info. Really too bad since I thought things were going well and it didn't seem like it fit their culture.

A recruiter contacted me for an initial phone chat. After that, they forwarded my resume to the hiring manager. The hiring manager's team got in touch the same day to say they were keen to set up an interview, which we booked for a few days later on Teams.
