They asked me if I wanted to do the interview over the phone or in person and I decided to do it in person because I figured I'd do better that way. The whole thing only took 30 minutes, which is pretty short compared to other interviews I've had.

The interview process was relatively easy and pleasant until the end. I completed a phone interview, Skype interview and Skype follow up call. I was told that I would need to be ready to start in less than a week if selected. They made it seem like I was the top candidate for this position then when I emailed to touch base it was a solid week before I heard back from the company. This company is not professional and I would not recommend them.

I sent in my resume and cover letter via email. A few days later, I got an email to set up a phone interview. The senior graphic designer talked to me on the phone, explained the job, and covered the basic duties. Then, I got another email to set up a Skype interview. In that one, I chatted with the owner, two managers, and the senior graphic designer. They gave me some made-up design situations and asked what I'd create. They also wanted to know how I'd describe the company's style and how I'd present products. After Skype, they invited me for an in-person interview at their office. I met the same four people again. We talked for 45 minutes, and I shared info about myself, my style, and my portfolio. Then, they asked me to design an icon for a product. I had lunch with the senior graphic designer to see if we'd be a good match. Once I finished the design, we wrapped up the meeting and I left. It felt really welcoming, and I got a good sense of the company, the atmosphere, and the role.

A manager contacted me, and seemed to be in a rush to end our call. Even though I was very qualified, I was never contacted again. I sent a follow-up email but got no response. Based on reviews from other sales reps, I'm glad I didn't get the job, as it sounds like they micromanage people there.
