It started with an HR screening, then I met with the Finance Director, followed by meetings with Finance Directors from other departments. The final step was a meeting with the VP. The whole process took about two to three weeks from start to finish before I got the job offer.

I applied and got called for an interview the following week. The initial phone chat was pretty chill. We talked about what I wanted money-wise, why I liked Portland, and my knowledge of MMC. Then, the in-person part was a two-day thing. The main HR person was a bit cold, but the managers at MMC were super experienced and nice. I did notice some family connections influencing things there. In the end, I never got my travel expenses back even after sending in my claim.

So after you apply online, you'll have a panel interview with some of the hiring folks. They'll ask you questions, and you just answer 'em. It's pretty chill, not scary. They wanna hear about your background, what you're good at, and maybe what you're not so good at. They definitely look at your resume and cover letter, so make sure those are up-to-date before you apply.
