It was a 4-5 round interview process. The rounds included HR (x2), MD, Finance, and Controlling. Getting the interviewers' time was a bit difficult. While fewer rounds were initially planned, more rounds ended up being necessary. Each round presented a different level of difficulty.

The interview process was industry standard. It is critical to understand SAP to be hired at any location, but this plant is downsizing due to quality and workforce issues, similar to Boeing's situation. The plant was dirty, and the operations office was also very unclean.

Went through a few phone calls for initial screening, then an in-person interview with German managers discussing hardware aspects. After that, there were several calls to go over salary and benefits. The final in-person interview was tough, with one interviewer and me, and included several technical questions.
