Management Trainee
The interview process involved CV-based questions focusing on my summer internship. It seemed like they might have been confused about my internship, as they asked about my knowledge of Figma and Jira, which they appeared unfamiliar with. Following that, they inquired about my interest in sales, the reasons behind it, and what a typical day looks like for an ASM.
- Can you elaborate on your summer internship experience based on your CV?
- What is your understanding of Figma?
- Could you explain what Jira is?
DGM Finance
The hiring process here is pretty long, involving about 7 or 8 interviews or tests. You'll meet with various people, including HR, the hiring manager, and the head of the department. Throughout all the stages, the interviewers were really nice, calm, and happy to answer any questions I had.
- They asked some technical questions about evaluating projects, modeling business cases, and project finance.
- They also assessed my knowledge of the industry, asking about its size, major competitors, and their market share.
- Additionally, they inquired about my methods for gathering competitive intelligence.
HR Manager
It was a tough campus recruitment process, they really dug into the details to see how deep my knowledge was and if I covered all aspects. The panel interview checked my business understanding, not just subject knowledge. They wanted to know if I knew how to design assessment centers, what inputs are needed for competency mapping, and how validation for competencies is done.
- Could you elaborate on your competency projects and their specifics?
- Can you discuss your understanding of the business beyond just technical knowledge?
- Describe your approach to designing assessment centers.
Data Analyst
It was an on-campus interview. The first round was an online assignment with 5 sections. There were breaks between sections and a sample test for each. It covered Python numpy, Pandas, Django, AWS, SQL queries, and a final section on python basics and timing. The second round was a technical interview where they asked about projects on my resume and had me solve Python and SQL problems. The third round was all about AI/ML questions along with Python questions.
- What is multicollinearity in regression, and what are its implications in ML?
