I had a call from the in-house recruiter first. Then, I interviewed with the hiring manager, and the final interview was with the VP of finance in the US. Everything was online. They got back to me within a week with an offer letter.

The interview process was quite simple and straightforward with just 3 rounds. Two of those were in-person, and one was a call with someone in the US. No presentation was required for me. It was a friendly conversation and pretty casual, which fits with their company culture.

The interview process for this Data Scientist I role was quite frustrating. I applied through LinkedIn, and the salary offered (110k) was below average for a DS role. The recruiter mentioned no relocation assistance. Initially, I was told to read a technical paper for the next interview, which was scheduled in just three days. However, during the interview, the hiring manager admitted she hadn't fully read the paper and wasn't interested in discussing it in depth. Instead, she asked odd, repetitive questions about whether specific models were developed by Google. This first 90-minute interview (longer than scheduled) felt unproductive, and I was told I passed. Next was a 48-hour take-home exam, which I felt I did well on. Passing this led to a virtual onsite with four more rounds. The onsite interviews were intense, with two interviewers per round asking numerous questions, including quantitative ones. Surprisingly, one interviewer didn't know what an RNN was, needing another to explain it. The final round involved basic system design questions, again with the manager seeming unsure, and repetitive questions about Google-developed models. She also expressed skepticism about deep learning being necessary for their problems. The most irritating part was when the hiring manager revealed that most candidates who complete the take-home exam are advanced to the virtual onsite, making the time spent on the take-home seem less valuable than the behavioral aspect, which seemed to focus on compliance. They eventually rejected me after over a month's wait, by which time I had another offer. It felt like a significant waste of time.

First call with HR, who was clueless about my role, but passed me to the next stage. They take two weeks between each stage, which is a joke. The second interview was with the Hiring Manager, but it turned out to be a data analysis and Excel role, not an Account Manager role at all, with no sales involved. It took them 5 weeks to complete 3 interviews, which is totally inappropriate and gives the company a bad image.
