HR first reached out for some quick questions before setting up an in-person interview. When I got to the office, no one was at the front desk, so I wasn't sure how to get in. After about 10 minutes, someone passed by and let me in. They had to get a manager, who then gave me a tour of the office, which was pretty cool. But when we went into the conference room, there were seven people waiting to interview me. As they each asked questions, I tried to look at everyone while answering, and it felt like my head was spinning. I'm okay with interviews, but seven people at once was a lot, especially for a first round. It was definitely an eye-opening experience, but I've interviewed with bigger companies since and usually don't see more than three people.
