The interview process was great at the time. The management team was very kind, firm, and understanding. They asked basic questions and listened closely. I think they were focused on hiring good employees to ensure the business ran smoothly.

I had three interviews with a panel of 3+ people. It was intimidating, but I did well because I knew the answers from my background. It wasn't anything new. They were nice and professional. This was before the new HR people.

I applied via email with my work samples. I found a HR person on LinkedIn who gave me her email. She connected me to the HR person in charge of the role. After a short phone call, I had an in-person interview with the HR Rep, and the marketing and technology managers.

It was a standard 2 stage interview. I went in for the first round and met with the department managers. It was pretty casual, and they had a lot of questions for me, but they were also really interested in hearing my thoughts and questions about the company, the team, and the process. Then I went in for the second round and met with the VP of tech and the same department managers. The VP of tech set a relaxed tone by showing up in shorts and flip flops. He's a great guy, very laid back, but don't mistake that for him being a slouch. He was incredibly knowledgeable and kept me on my toes with every question, not missing a beat. All in all, it was a great interview experience, and I'm thankful for the opportunity to apply.
