Event Coordinator
I applied via LinkedIn and then emailed about an interview. The company didn't seem real, so I turned down the job. They claim to pay $8/hr or a weekly commission of $500-$800, which sounds too good to be true, especially after hearing about others' experiences. It involves driving to events sometimes 30 miles away to sell overpriced products at places like Sam's Club. Mikea also said that after 9 months, you should be making at least $70k annually and get paid to travel the world and host events, but apparently, no one has actually completed their training. They seem to be selling this to young college grads. While I hope it's true for those who accept, I doubt anything they told me about the company is true, so be careful if you proceed. Also, if you go for an interview, there will be other candidates in the lobby, and it feels like an interview factory because people realize what it is and don't accept the position.
- How would you prioritize money, growth, and fun?
- What specific area would you aim to develop during your time here?
Marketing Coordinator
The process was really professional. The first round was exploratory, and they were informative even in the prelim. Everyone in the office was really nice and welcoming. The second round was an onsite interview where I got to see an event! It was cool to see exactly what they do and how it works, and why it works so well. We also talked about pay, schedule, and training in more detail. The third round interview was back at the office, diving into more detail about the company's growth. They answered all of my questions. Very transparent. I appreciate that in a company because I've been to some sketchy interviews, but these guys advertise what they are actually looking for and provide what they promise.
- What is your motivation for pursuing a role in management?
Executive Manager
3 Interviews on Different Days: 1st Interview at the Office is basically a qualification check. 2nd Interview is at an Event where you need to take notes, and these notes will be taken away afterward, so remember them. 3rd Interview is back at the Office to discuss what you remember, testing your student mentality. If you pass these, you'll get a call to start. You'll meet at the office again to fill out paperwork like ID and direct deposit. Once everything is set up, you'll likely meet your mentor and probably start on a Tuesday-Friday schedule at the office. Congratulations, you've sold your soul.
- Are you self-motivated?
- What do you prioritize: money, growth, or fun?
Project Manager
There are 3 stages to the interview, but it's not as difficult as it sounds. The first stage is just to see your face, get to know you, and talk about the company and the position. The second stage involves taking notes while they do a sales demonstration (this is more of a sales job than a management position for the first few months). The third stage is a recap of everything you learned in round 2.
- Tell me about how you build impulse.
