A recruiter reached out to me on Linkedin and told me about the company. I was interested and talked to the Director. The Director seemed unhappy and acted superior. When I asked about ROI, the responses were vague. The company has bad reviews and high turnover for a reason. I would tell anyone considering interviewing here to believe the reviews; it's poorly managed and could harm your career. They don't deserve you. I just got offered a Director role at a bigger company with better compensation than the interviewer.

Behavioral Technical

The hiring process started smoothly with scheduling and follow-ups. However, after completing several interviews and being given committed next steps, I never received any further communication. Good follow-up communication shouldn't be too much to ask for, it should be the minimum expected from companies during hiring. Startups, in particular, need to step up their game. This experience has negatively impacted my perception of the brand.

Presentation Behavioral

Get ready for 4 rounds of interviews, along with an assessment (original, SEO optimized article and a 6-month strategy overview, and live presentation). Once you've spent hours sharing your favorite ideas with the team, everything might seem like it's going great. Then, you might receive a cryptic email that could either be about you landing the role, or rejection. It's hard to tell, so you might lose sleep over it. Turns out the founder decided to stop the formerly enthusiastic hiring manager in their tracks... Why? Unclear reasons that weren't mentioned in the interview. Good luck with this company.

Behavioral Other

So, I've heard from others that MaestrQA tends to ghost candidates, and unfortunately, I experienced that too. After a first Zoom chat, I did a take-home case study, but then... nothing. No response at all. It's a bummer when they ask for several hours of your work and then don't even get back to you. Please be more respectful of people's time.
