I first spoke with the manager remotely. Then, I went to the office and met with the team leader for an offer. Both interactions were relaxed and pleasant.

The interview process followed a typical structure. It began with a phone call from a recruiter, followed by another phone interview with a hiring manager. After that, I was invited to the office for in-person meetings with two team members. The interactions were welcoming and seemed to go well. I was expecting to hear back within a week, but after two weeks passed, I sent a follow-up. Unfortunately, I never received a response. I feel that even though employers aren't obligated to provide extensive feedback, candidates at least deserve a notification, like an email or call, when they're not selected after an in-person interview. It comes across as unprofessional and akin to being ghosted.

The interviewer rescheduled our initial meeting because they missed the original time, which wasn't ideal. The interview itself was pretty standard, focusing on my experience securing coverage in publications and my relationships with journalists. The interviewer stressed the company's "hustle!" culture.

Applied online and was contacted by a recruiter for a phone screen. They then asked me to come in for an interview the next day. The interview covered my background, experience, and questions about the company. I wasn't given clear follow-up instructions, so I sent a thank you email and followed up via text as instructed. After multiple follow-ups by text, email, and LinkedIn, I still haven't heard back. I found the process to be unprofessional.
