Business Development
The interview process with Madrivo was very professional and what I expected for the most part. It was a five part interview: Screening Call, Zoom interview with would be manager (I really liked Asia!), Zoom interview with Peer, Zoom interview with Head of People, and Zoom interview with CEO. The part that makes this a more neutral experience is the response after, or lack there of. I had all these interviews during late November and into December with the last one with the CEO the week before Christmas week. I had no expectation that I would hear from them until after the holidays (sometime the week of Jan 5th), but thought I would for sure as all interviews went well, I have prior experience in the affiliate industry, etc.. I did reach out to Jessica the hiring manager letting her know that I beforehand that I had 2 other jobs I was looking at and expecting offers from. This was because I wanted to be transparent and give them option to fight for me if they wanted to. I did end up accepting a different offer even though I really wanted to work here although I am glad now. As I still haven't heard from them and my last interview was almost a month ago and with the CEO! From any professional company, after going through five interviews I would at least expect an email at the very minimum saying they went into another direction. This is poor form and makes me glad I went a different direction. No fault of anyone I did interviews with but the hiring manager needs to be more on top of what is going on.
- How do you handle conflict and collaboration when a colleague is uncooperative or dismissive of your needs, especially in a high-pressure environment with potential team friction?
Ad Operations Specialist
I applied online and got a 10-15 minute screening call. Then I had a 1-hour meeting with the SVP of operations and the hiring manager, who is the bizops & ad ops manager. They were going to have me interview with the director next, but they offered the role to someone internal!
- What would your past managers say about you?
- How would your past peers describe you in 3-5 words?
Senior Publisher Development Manager
The interview process was really smooth. The interviewers were inviting, accommodating, and respectful. I felt like they were genuinely trying to get to know me, not trick me. If you know the space and have a strong book of business, you have a good chance. I ended up getting the job!
- Can you tell me about your current publisher relationships that might be a good fit for our solutions?
Digital Media Buyer
Started with a recruiter call, who was surprisingly knowledgeable about the role. Then had a conversational interview with the hiring manager, which went really well. Followed up with the same manager for a follow-up interview where I discussed an assignment they gave me, and that was also a good experience. I thought Madrivo's interview process was great, a really positive experience overall.
- Were there any general behavioral questions asked during the screening?
- Were there any 'gotcha' or dreaded interview questions?
- Were the second/third interviews more conversational?
