Not thrilled with this process. They didn't let me know they had hired for the position, but still went on with the interview and told me after. I also was never followed up with on future possibilities until about a year later, after the same recruiter never responded.

Got an email from HR after sending my resume to schedule a phone screening. After that, they said Madden would contact me by the end of the week about an in-person interview, which they did with dates and times. The in-person interview was set up nicely with confirmation emails and a parking pass. I met with the Director of Digital Marketing and two Senior Digital Marketing Specialists. They asked good questions that were relevant to the job. Madden really cares about training and helping people grow with the company, and the team showed me that. They made me feel comfortable and were really down to earth.

Behavioral Technical Case

Applied in June 2016 and got an email for an interview about a month later. It included questions about my experience and how familiar I was with their company and industry, plus an assessment of my writer/editor skills. They also asked a lot of brand and client questions. At the end, they gave me two assignments to test my skills: an editing and writing exercise. I did it that day and over the weekend, submitting it well before the due date, which was about a week after the first interview. The day after the due date, they emailed me about a second interview the following week. After the second interview, they said they'd be in touch within a week. Five days later, they contacted me for references and a background check. I got a phone offer the next day. It was a great experience!

Got contacted by a recruiter from out of town about a search marketing role. Had a phone call first. Then went downtown for an interview with one or two people, went well. A few days later, back for a second interview with the first two people plus two more. Things still looked good and they said they'd decide soon. Then, a THIRD interview with one person from before and two higher-ups. Seemed positive, and they said I'd hear back in two days. But nothing came. The recruiter was surprised about the third round and the delay. Ended up taking another offer I had because they couldn't wait. Never found out why it took so long or why so many interviews.
