So the first step was this initial interview over Zoom. They sent over all the interview questions a day before which was pretty cool and gave me time to think about how to answer some of the more involved questions. It was with two people and lasted about half an hour.

I had a 30-minute phone screen as the first round with the Director of this area. Good questions, respectful of my time, shared the salary range. I was then told that I was one of the top three candidates and completed a final round of interviews within an afternoon. 1) with the director again and senior associate directors 2) with two members of a different department with whom the role works closely 3) with the rest of the team, associate directors and assistant directors. Finally I met with an HR person to discuss the benefits associated with the role. It was well-paced and thorough, and respectful of my time. A really positive interview experience.

The interviewer also has a structure that might include an initial contact for screening, tests to assess the candidate's profile, and talks with different company people to check if they fit the role.

The interview process involved a 6-hour duration with 3-4 separate interviews. Each interview had 2-4 interviewers. The first meeting was with the overall director. Then, an associate team conducted an interview. Following that, there was an interview with the specific position's team. Finally, a group of individuals from various roles that the candidate would interact with regularly conducted the last interview.
