First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Mac Properties.
Front Desk Associate
It was a quick process, asking only questions relevant to the job. It was a video call with questions, followed by a 3-way check for acceptance or rejection. It was easy to get back to.
- How would you best assist a customer who seems confused about something?
Leasing Consultant
I saw an online ad and about a week later the Operations Director called me for a phone interview. It went well and he said he'd call me back to schedule an in-person interview, but it took me calling him back twice to get it set up because he seemed disorganized. We agreed on 11 am, but he wrote down 10 am. The interview was basic. Then, a couple weeks later, someone else from the company called and wanted to interview me, but I told them I already had one scheduled. After another couple of weeks, I followed up about the decision and the interviewer told me they were moving on with other candidates. I was told the pay was $13-14/hr and that the expected conversion rate was 30%, but then in the interview, they said it should be 50%.
- Basic experience review questions.
- Questions about the relevance of my experience.
Leasing Associate
It was a pretty standard process, mostly focused on what I've done before. They really stuck to my resume and asked a bit about my sales background. All in all, it seems like a great company and a nice place to work.
- Could you elaborate on your past sales experience?
- Can you go into detail about your previous sales history?
Leasing Professional
We start with a quick phone call to see if you're a good fit, then you'll come in for an in-person interview with the top two managers. After that, you might meet with some of your future coworkers and other staff members before we make a final decision.
- Tell me about your experience in real estate.
