First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at MA Laboratories.
Assistant Product Manager
I initially spoke with the recruiter. This recruiter was very disrespectful, mocking me for mispronouncing the company name and questioning my research efforts. She then stated that the role wasn't a PM position despite the job description and my background. She was impatient and unprofessional, unable to understand a basic question about team structure. This experience suggests issues with the company's hiring practices.
- What makes you want to work here?
- Why are you interested in this specific role?
Assistant Product Manager
The interview process was pretty straightforward. However, it seems the HR team and the hiring manager have differing views on what the job actually entails and what the career trajectory looks like. I get that they might have different angles on the roles, but their responses about career progression and what they expect from the role were all over the place and didn't align.
- Would you describe yourself as someone who pays close attention to detail?
Product Manager
HR reached out on Linkedin and sent over the JD. Was invited to interview soon after. Started with introductions, then some behavioral questions about strengths/weaknesses, my duties, and when I could start.
- Can you share an instance where you encountered difficulties collaborating with other teams?
