it was all behavioral questions. 2 rounds, first is phone screen and just basic behavioral. 2nd is just going through your resume and answering questions about it. not particularly hard as long as you can explain your resume well.

The interview process was pretty standard, but everything was done over the phone or Zoom because of Covid-19. The recruiter really emphasized how much she dislikes companies ghosting candidates and assured me that wouldn't happen with them. After my final interview, I felt good about it, but it took a while. I emailed for an update, got no reply, so I called. She said she'd emailed me back and again stressed they don't leave candidates hanging. She mentioned they were making final decisions that week and promised a call, not an email, either way. I never heard anything back. The number of times I was guaranteed communication, no matter the result, was so high that I actually believed them. It's bad enough to ghost candidates, but to repeatedly promise you don't do that? It left a terrible impression, enough for me to take the time to write this.

Behavioral Presentation

It was a really long interview process. I had a bunch of phone interviews and then some in-person ones too. I even met with some of the same people more than once. We talked about different parts of the job and how it all fit together with the business. It was super informative, but honestly, it felt like it went on forever.

I applied online, and then had a phone interview with HR. After that, I went to the office in Portland for an in-person interview with the accounting department. They asked some follow-up questions about my interview, and then extended an offer. I did send thank you cards and a follow-up email after the interviews.
