Battery Engineer
It was mostly questions about my previous experience and my PhD thesis. It was an easy interview because it focused on my work. Just be thorough with the work you have already done.
- Could you present your PhD thesis?
Process Technician
So first, I had a quick 15-minute phone call with HR where they went over the role in more detail. Then the following week, I had a 30-minute video interview with the hiring manager. It was mostly to get to know each other and they asked some non-technical questions. The next step was an on-site interview the week after that. It was with a 6-person panel, broken into two group sessions, each lasting 30 minutes, for a total of 2 hours.

Engineer
First, I spoke with the recruiter, and then I interviewed with the hiring manager. Each interview lasted about 30 minutes and wasn't too challenging. They got back to me quickly after each part.
- Can you tell me about your previous experiences?
Technical Director
An external recruiter reached out to me and then I had a virtual meeting with the hiring manager. After the HM confirmed interest, the company flew me in for a full day of in-person interviews. This included a panel of about six half-hour interviews and a tour of the lab. They also set up additional one-on-one meetings after the interviews to help me decide. HR was involved in finalizing the offer, and they considered my preferences. I thought the process was well-organized, especially considering it happened during Covid.
- What is your technical background in product management?
- Can you describe your experience managing people?
- What is your experience with organizational management?
