The application process seemed disorganized from the start, with the initial application apparently getting lost. Interview dates were rescheduled twice. Upon arrival, there was a significant wait of about 30 minutes for the interviewers and a conference room to become available. It felt like they might have been expecting a different candidate for another role. Parking in the vicinity is not free, and the office environment seemed very busy with minimal interaction among staff. The office itself lacks windows, although the conference rooms are uniquely named after Will Ferrell movies.

First, I had a call with HR, then about a month later, a phone chat with management. After that, I went in person for meetings at two different offices with various staff, which involved a lot of driving. Then, I had a phone call with people who work remotely. They had me come back in to meet with three more people. I gave them references, and they checked them. They made a verbal offer, and I accepted. We picked a start date, and they said a written offer would come. But the day before I was supposed to start, they told me senior management had worries and wanted a lot more info. A week after that, they said the issues weren't sorted and rescinded the offer.

The interview process kicked off with a recruiter reaching out about the role. They were upfront about the changes happening at the senior management level because of the new CEO who started in August 2010. From the first contact, it was clear to me that the recruiting and interviewing teams were aware of the challenges ahead. They were organized and thorough. It seemed like the interviewers were well-prepared and had relevant questions. I felt reassured by the experience. My advice to future candidates is to research the new management team and be ready to ask insightful questions back to the interviewers. The people I met seemed intelligent, dedicated, and committed to making the company a great place to work. The office and work culture are evolving, with new leadership focused on building a workplace culture that values integrity, passion, and progress.

The interview process was a bit lengthy. It included phone, Skype, and in-person interviews, totaling eight rounds. I received a rejection email halfway through but was then asked to reapply. I'm still unsure what happened then. Despite that, I was successful and enjoyed my time at the company. The interview process might be different now since Aurea acquired the company.
