First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Lyric Opera of Chicago.
Data Analytics Manager
The interview process was great. I went through three rounds and the team was fantastic. It would have been a dream to join them. They asked relevant questions and answered all mine to a tee. They were very communicative throughout the entire process.
- Can you tell me about your experience?
Guest Service Representative
It was a pretty straightforward process. They wanted to know about my past customer service experiences and how I've handled tough situations. The interview was in person and didn't take too long, about 30 minutes total, and that even included a tour of the place.
- Can you share an instance where you dealt with a challenging customer? Describe your approach to resolving it.
PR & Marketing Intern
It involved a couple of interviews. First, I talked to the hiring manager, and then I met with the people I'd be reporting to. Both chats were on Zoom. The hiring manager was really cool! When I met with the supervisors, I was happy to find out they'd actually read my resume and cover letter and asked me about them. All in all, it was a really good interview experience!
- Can you explain what public relations is, using your own words?
Audience Services Representative
It was a pretty easy chatty interview. We covered skills, went over the job details, and what my preferences were for inbound/outbound calls. They were nice and the interview was really relaxed and casual in a little conference room.
- Are you more interested in inbound or outbound calls?
