I applied on March 1st and got an email to schedule a face-to-face interview for that same day. After scheduling, I got another email saying, 'You're in this first interview, we'll spend about 15-20 minutes getting to know you and helping you learn more about the position and the company.' He said it was a 3-round process. The first round was super quick and to the point, just to get an idea of my personality and what I was looking for in my career. He asked several questions, liked my answers, and thought I'd be a good fit. He mentioned he had more candidates but I stood out and I should expect a call that evening between 5:00-5:30 to discuss the next step. I thought I'd get a call back, but I didn't. So, I called HR. After explaining who I interviewed with and what was said, they apologized and said I wasn't selected and they went in a different direction. It felt misleading because he made me feel like I would get a call back. They missed out, I would have been a very dedicated employee.

The interview experience was disappointing. I initially thought it was a traditional marketing/advertising firm role, but it turned out to be a "management development" firm. They stated I would start as a Client Rep (salesperson) with very low pay. The promotion path is described as unrealistically fast: after 2 weeks as a Client Rep, one can become an Account Executive, then Assistant Branch Manager in a few months, and potentially a branch owner within a year. This rapid progression seems impossible for effective training. Although I was almost convinced by the concept during the interview, I declined the offer due to my current stable job and the low starting salary, suspecting it might be a Ponzi scheme.

The interview process is several rounds long. In each of the rounds I felt very comfortable and felt that the interviewer cared about me and my interview. It was a very welcoming environment and you could tell the employees were passionate about the company and company culture. Everything was in full detail and they answered all the questions I had. I also did not have to wait long to be called in for my interview, which is a big problem at a lot of companies. Overall, I enjoyed my interview process, and believe it went very smoothly.

The whole process was pretty straightforward and consisted of a few stages. First, I had an initial chat with the hiring manager, which was short but pleasant. We talked a lot about my background and how I'd fit into the company. Then, I met with some of the team members, and that was my favorite part. They assessed my potential for growth within the company and discussed achievable goals. I'm really optimistic about my future career path here.
