IT Analyst
I applied online and the website was easy to use. A recruiter contacted me and explained the whole interview process. The phone screen was with the recruiter, who was really nice and made the company culture sound amazing. It was a great experience!
- Can you list any IT certifications you possess or are currently pursuing?
- Tell me about your working habits.
- Could you discuss other related aspects of your professional approach?
Account Executive
I went through 3 interviews with the hiring manager, their boss, and the local team. Two were in-person and one was a phone call. The in-person interviews involved reviewing my background and asking about job-specifics, how I'd add value, and handle challenges. My strengths were highlighted and concerns discussed. This led to a second interview where I had to prepare my numbers and some supporting documents. That went well, leading to a final panel interview with the local team. A recruiter acted as the go-between, and I appreciated their communication. The last step was a call about salary expectations, which were a bit off from their initial offer. I was told an offer would come in two days, but it didn't. The recruiter explained that because my salary expectation was higher than they wanted to pay, the hiring manager's boss decided to go with another candidate, fearing I'd leave for a better offer. It was disappointing, especially since showing negotiation skills is important for a sales role. I believe candidates deserve the same respect and clear communication that the company expects from its customers.
- In your opinion, where will you be in five years?
Picker Packer
When you arrive, they're looking for someone reliable who won't mess up and isn't rude to others. Someone named Daryll or similar might ask about your past jobs or what you hope to achieve in your career. Sharing your experience is good, but the exact details aren't as crucial as showing you're not negative about others. They really care about being on time, being careful with products, and being kind. If you show these qualities, you'll probably get the job. If you pass, you'll go to IS2 to sign some paperwork. You'll work with them for about six months before moving to a permanent position at Lynden.
- What are your career aspirations?
Warehouse Manager
The interview process was pretty standard, but it wasn't super organized. The hiring manager asked me questions and then told me about the job. There were about ten questions asked in total, and most of them were behavioral, so I had to give an example of something I did in the past and what the result was.
- Can you describe a time you motivated a team of employees?
